The local dance festival "Bailamos en Navidad" is set to take place on December 18 as part of Móstoles' Christmas programming. Interested dance schools can register for free until October 22.
The event, organized by the Móstoles City Council through the Department of Mobility, Transport, Consumption, and Celebrations, aims to provide a platform for students from local dance schools to showcase their talents on stage. The festival will be held in Plaza de España and may extend to December 17, depending on the number of participating schools.
"Bailamos en Navidad" is a non-competitive event focused on celebrating dance and offering local schools the opportunity to perform for their community, highlighting the variety and quality of dance practiced in Móstoles. The festival welcomes all dance styles, including classical ballet, Spanish dance, bolero school, flamenco, contemporary dance, urban dance, and Latin dances.
Participating schools must be registered as dance institutions and operate in Móstoles, with no restrictions on the styles they teach. Schools interested in participating should indicate "Bailamos en Navidad" and their name in the subject line of their application. The guidelines and registration form can be downloaded from the City Council's website.
With this initiative, the Móstoles City Council aims to integrate local dance schools into the Christmas programming, providing them with a stage to present the diversity of styles, proposals, and talent that contribute to the local cultural fabric.
