The Centro de la Cultura del Rioja (CCR) is set to launch 'Cine con Rioja', a film series that will take place in the centre's auditorium on Mondays from 19 October to 16 November at 18:00. The screenings will feature films in their original versions with Spanish subtitles, showcasing stories connected to the world of wine and its culture.
This series aims to explore wine through the lens of cinema, offering five diverse films that intertwine wine and audiovisual culture, addressing themes of identity, passion, suspense, and human complexities. The selection includes a range of genres, from tragicomedy to black comedy, contemporary drama to auteur cinema, and classic thrillers.
Each film will be followed by a glass of Rioja wine, allowing attendees to discuss the movie. Tickets can be purchased for €5 at centrodelaculturadelrioja.sacatuentrada.es, with a complete pass for all five screenings available for €15.
