On October 9, 2026, Albacete's Security Councilor, Alberto Reina, participated in the presentation of the XI National Day Concert, which will be held at the Teatro Circo on Friday, October 16, at 8:00 PM. The concert will feature the Marine Infantry Music Unit and will include performances by tenor Agustín Plaza, mezzo-soprano Loma García Martín, and the wind quintet from the Professional Conservatory of Music of the Diputación.
Reina congratulated the Defense Subdelegate in Albacete, Miguel Ángel de la Torre Solís, and reiterated the City Council's support, stating: “Not only by providing the Teatro Circo for the event, but also because we feel a shared love for Spain and believe in using music and culture as a means to express this sentiment throughout society, especially when we can collaborate with prestigious musical formations from our Armed Forces.”
This concert, closely linked to the promotion of defense culture since its inception, marks its eleventh edition. This year, the proceeds will be donated to the Acepain Foundation for cancer research, “demonstrating once again the sensitivity of the Defense Subdelegation, reflecting the solidarity of the entire Albacete community.”
