The 28th Cros Ciutat de Sant Cugat is set to take place on Sunday, 8 November, at Parc de la Pollancreda, featuring a day of competition, participation, and community spirit centred around athletics. The event is open to children, young people, and adults, with free online registrations available until 3 November.
Organised by the Sant Cugat City Council through the Municipal Office of Sports for All (OMET), the Cros is part of the Catalonia school race calendar and offers participants a chance to qualify for the national final. The event will run from 08:30 to 13:25, with medal and prize presentations scheduled for the same day in two time slots: from 10:30 to 11:00 for the Popular, Youth, Cadet, Children, and Special Cros categories, and from 12:15 to 12:45 for the Alevín (1st and 2nd year) and Benjamín (1st and 2nd year) categories.
A total of 18 races will be organised according to age and category, aimed at participants born in 2020 or earlier, with distances tailored to each group. The event will maintain a staggered start system for the prebenjamín, benjamín, and alevín categories, and will distribute races based on age rather than gender, promoting equal participation for boys and girls.
